What is Adhesive Backed Paper?

To show how it works, I'm going to pair this sticky newspaper with regular cardstock to brand fun set of party pennants! Here's what y'all'll need.

Party Pennants Supplies

  • Cricut Joy or other Cricut machine
  • Cricut Adhesive Backed Paper
  • Analogous cardstock
  • Ribbon
  • Cricut Pattern Infinite project

If you'd like, recolor the project. I'm using my fabulous friend Jen Goode'due south Adhesive Backed Paper collection. I always love when my friends practice astonishing things (and Jen is always doing amazing things!).

I used 2 different shades of royal in the Cricut Pattern Space image to stand in for the patterned newspaper.

In one case you've got your file set up to get, hitting Make Information technology in the upper right. You'll be asked to choose a type of mat—both cardstock and adhesive-backed paper crave a Cricut Mat, and so cull On Mat. I accept the longer 4.five″ x 12″ mat, but this project volition as well fit on the smaller 4.5″ ten 6″ mat that comes with Cricut Joy. You can also cut these on a Cricut Explore or Maker!

To fit my cardstock on my sheet, I detect a quick way to trim it down is to stick information technology to the mat and then use my rotary cutter and acrylic ruler to cutting information technology direct down the edge of the mat surface.
